What is ialuril®?
Ialuril® is a bladder lavage fluid featuring a combination of high doses of substances that contribute to the recovery of your bladder wall. After recovery, harmful substances will no longer be able to penetrate the bladder wall. Studies show that unpleasant symptoms will decrease after this.
What does ialuril® do?
Ialuril® contains hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate. These substances naturally occur in the human body. Both substances have been proven to be important for the protection of the bladder wall from harmful intruders. Ialuril® also contains calcium chloride. This substance increases the effect of hyaluronic acid and chondroitin sulphate. Studies show that the combination of these three active substances results in a stronger effect than these substances would have separately.
Does ialuril® have any side effects?
Ialuril® is a medical device. It has been in use for over 15 years. There are no serious side effects. Some users feel a burning sensation when first applying this product. This usually passes eventually. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the components.
How often should I use ialuril®?
The most common dosage regimen is 1 lavage a week for 4 weeks, followed by 1 lavage per 2 weeks for 4 weeks. After that, 1 lavage per month. In specific cases, a doctor may recommend a different regimen.
How do I administer ialuril® in?
Ialuril® is administered into the bladder using the ialuadapter® or a catheter. Various catheters are available, and they all come with different treatment procedures. When using a catheter, it is important to urinate as much as you can before use and to apply the hygiene measures prescribed.
